Editorial policy
Prime Regional Journal aims to make regional geography clear, specific and dependable. We separate explanation from opinion, check factual claims against appropriate material and correct errors openly.
Accuracy and context
We check names, terms and factual statements before publication, and give readers enough context to understand the point being made. When a subject is uncertain or varies by place, we say so rather than presenting one account as universal. We do not imply that an article replaces local guidance.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly identified as such. A partnership does not buy favourable editorial coverage, and partner placements are labelled so readers can distinguish them from editorial articles.
Corrections and illustrations
Readers can report a suspected error through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, they are identified and are not presented as documentary evidence.
A region is more than a line on a map.
Its character comes from the land, the places people build and the connections between them. We look closely at those parts, without treating any one map as the whole story.
